A lifelong Iowan, Blake grew up here in Des Moines, IA. After graduating from the University of Iowa in 2016, he and his wife moved back to the Des Moines Metro, where they currently reside in Urbandale with their daughter Sienna.

Blake has a strong passion for delivering the highest customer service (his motto is to bring Chick-fil-A-level customer service to every interaction!), and his agency prides itself on being one of the most responsive insurance agencies in the Midwest. 

In 2019, Blake started a captive insurance agency from scratch that was amongst the most successful insurance agencies in the country for over 5 years. As the insurance industry evolved, so did the focal point of Blake and the entire agency; having the most options to offer, the best policies, at the most competitive prices. Now, his focus has evolved to grow The Newton Insurance Group into one of the largest and fastest-growing independent insurance agencies in Iowa.
